RBC -101T - POUR POINT DEPRESSANT

Application :

RBC-101T is a crystal modifier that is formulated to improve the flow in the systems transporting heavy fuel oils by lowering the pour point, thereby improving the cold flow characteristics. This crystal modifier is a polymeric additive that interferes with the normal formation of wax crystal by blocking the primary needle crystals from further aggregation to form the secondary plate crystals. RBC-101T can be applied to crude oils, residual oil and cat cracker feeds. The dosage rate of RBC-101T is dependent of the fuel to be treated and the desired the problem. RBC-101T should be added to the oil prior to the formation of the wax crystals. In most cases, this requires continuous injection down the annulus of the of the producing well where down-hole equipment permits.
